USR-DR206/DR216 is a new generation of LoRaWAN end node based on the SX126x chip from Semtech. It converts RS485 data to standard LoRaWAN wireless network, simplifying IoT installations and reducing installation/maintenance costs.

This device, when used with a LoRaWAN gateway, can achieve long-distance transmission of data from 485 devices. It is designed for professional wireless sensor network applications, such as smart irrigation, intelligent metering, smart cities, smart homes, and building automation. USR-DR206 is DC power supply while the USR-DR216 is AC power supply.

Test conditions: clear weather, open field of view, maximum power 22±0.5dBm, antenna gain 3.5dBi, height greater than 2m.

In order to ensure stable and reliable data transmission, the device integrates FEC(Forward Error Correction), LBT(Listen Before Talk), data retransmission, heartbeat packet.
